After blaming the boss, criticizing the client, or gossiping about the gal or guy in the next cube over…
When all of our career responsibility outsourcing runs its course, we’re left with the real work of looking inward.
At ourselves.
Accepting full responsibility for our story.
Doing the work to get clear.
Determining what exactly it is that makes us come alive.
Then being brave enough to take agency and step into the good parts of our power.
One tiny, wobbly step.
It’s easier to coast, drift, flounder, wait for Friday, and let someone else define our path for us.
But then, eventually, the lights come on, the bill comes due, and we realize we don’t love where we are.
And likely, who we became in the process.
