Maybe more than a successful, comfortable, or predictable life, a different measuring stick we can use in 2023 is how interesting our lives are.
Because if we’re asleep, numb, and lacking purpose in our own skin, what good will any of the rest of it be?
An interesting life has:
– Adventure
– Uncertainty
– Emotion
– Purpose
– Conflict
– Community
– Failure
– Courage
– Drama
– Rest
– Hope
Are we interested in the lives we’re building?
Or are they a big yawn fest, aiming for the weekend, the next episode to drop, and retirement?
